"Alberto" Series (8) ⇑ ⇓
The story of Alberto Rivera and his escapades with the Crusaders as they combat the evil forces of the Jesuits and Catholic Church, who seek to enslave the world as part of a nefarious agenda. While largely a subset of the ‘Crusaders’ comic series that focuses on the expertise and knowledge of Alberto Rivera, this set also includes a comic (possibly two) that featured claims Chick Publications found to be too outlandish even for them, and so had to be self-published by Alberto’s own ministry, The Antichrist Information Center / Assurance in Christ International Ministries, or AIC.
*The exact publication date of The Great Holocaust I was not printed in the comic and is unknown, but is believe to have been originally released by Alberto Rivera's publishing company some time in the mid- to late-1980's
** It is unknown whether The Plot of Holocaust was ever actually put into print, and this rough cover design (which appears on the back cover of #AIC7) is all that has been located referencing this issue thus far
"The Crusaders" Series (24) ⇑ ⇓
The Crusaders are an international duo, whose mission is to combat various threats to Christianity as perceived by Chick. Such threats include evolution, witchcraft and the Catholic Church, and which the Crusaders are able to combat via their skill sets, Protestant teachings and faith in Jesus alone. They often team up with a soon-to be convert, or some ‘famous’ expert to combat said evils, such as Alberto Rivera and John Todd.
"The Overcomers" Series (4) ⇑ ⇓
A comic series illustrated by one-time Chick collaborator Mary Mitchell, and aimed at primary school children. The series is not very well known, but is remarked for having an ‘unusual’ visual style when compared to other comics released by Chick Publications, often containing graphic and disturbing imagery ill-fitting a series meant for such a young audience. The series itself is meant to introduce young readers to the Ministry of Jesus Christ as interpreted through Protestant beliefs. These comics are not (and seemingly never were) available for sale on the Chick.com website, and appear to have been completely disavowed by both their author and publisher.
Paperback Books (2) ⇑ ⇓
These are Chick’s paperback books with full page illustrations, often following the story of a family who are not properly following the teachings of Christ and require ‘re-education’ by a faithful and devout believer of Christ. In the process, their lives begin to improve, showing that faith in Jesus is all that is needed.
"Sword" Series (2) ⇑
A pair of double-length (64 page) comics, each of which has its own narrative that doesn’t fit in with the other sets. One is a summary of the Bible, with Chick’s unique spin and commentary, and the other is an adaptation of the writings of Charles Chiniquy, a former Catholic priest turned anti-Catholic activist from the 19th Century, whose writings are also reprinted by Chick Publications.
